Online Wedding Planner is a small independent team that builds free, browser-based wedding planning tools — no signup, no email, no personal data required.
Why we built this
Wedding planning is already expensive enough. Then someone sells you a $300/year "all-in-one wedding planner" subscription, and another vendor charges $50 for a printable seating chart template, and a third asks for your email before you can use a free budget calculator. We thought there was a better way.
Every tool on this site is something we wished existed when we were planning weddings ourselves. A budget calculator that suggests realistic amounts based on guest count and region, not a generic spreadsheet template. A seating chart maker that handles drag-and-drop and conflict detection in the browser. A day-of timeline generator that asks two questions and gives you a starting point you can actually edit. RSVP wording variants for any tone. A flower picker that filters by season and budget. A hashtag generator that gives you twelve options to pick from.
Each tool is built to be useful in 30 seconds, not 30 days.
Our values
Free, forever
Every tool is free. There is no premium tier, no trial, no "upgrade to unlock". The site is paid for by advertising, shown around the written guidance on each page rather than in the middle of a tool you are working in. If you decline advertising cookies, every tool still works exactly the same.
No account required
You don't need to sign up, give us an email, or create a password to use any tool. We don't want your personal information. The only place on the entire site that asks for your email is the contact form (and even then, only if you want a reply).
Your data stays on your device
Everything you enter into our tools — your budget, your guest list, your seating chart, your music selections — is saved in your browser's local storage. It never travels to our servers because we don't have servers that store user data. If you switch devices or clear your browser data, your work is gone. That trade-off is intentional: it means we cannot lose, leak, or be subpoenaed for data we don't have.
Designed for the wedding, not for the platform
Every output is meant to leave the tool. Print your guest list for the caterer, export your seating chart as escort cards and table cards, hand your vendors the day-of timeline, take your budget to a spreadsheet. We optimise for "you used the tool, you got what you needed, you closed the tab" — not for engagement metrics or daily active users.
Who we are
Online Wedding Planner is run by a small, anonymous team of independent developers and writers. We don't have investors, we don't sell user data, and we don't have a sales team. Decisions are made by the same people who write the code and the blog posts.
How we make money
Advertising, served through Google AdSense. That is the whole business model — there is no premium tier, no affiliate scheme and no paid vendor listings. Ads appear alongside the written guidance on our pages, never layered over a tool while you are using it, and no advertiser has any say in what we publish. We do not sell user data, because we have no user data to sell. Our editorial standards set out how that separation is kept.
