Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Online Wedding Planner ("the Site"), a collection of free wedding planning tools at https://onlineweddingplanner.io. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. The service

Online Wedding Planner provides browser-based tools that help users plan weddings. The tools include, without limitation: a budget calculator, guest list builder, seating chart maker, day-of timeline builder, RSVP wording generator, save-the-date countdown, vendor tip calculator, photo shot list builder, DJ music brief builder, vendor contact tracker, flower picker, venue considerations checklist, style quiz, honeymoon budget calculator, vendor contract checklist, and hashtag generator.

All tools run entirely in your web browser. Your inputs are stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to our servers. We do not require account registration.

3. License to use

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial wedding planning purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any tool or content from the Site without our written permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, including servers or networks connected to it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is publicly viewable.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Site at a rate that materially affects its availability for other users.
• Submit content through the contact form that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Frame the Site or any part of it within another website without our written permission.

5. User-generated content

Any text, names, photos URLs, or other information you enter into the tools is yours and stays on your device. We do not see or store it. You retain all rights to it. If you submit content via the contact form, you grant us a limited license to read, store, and respond to that submission for the purpose of providing support.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, code, text content (other than user inputs and contact form submissions), brand name, logo, and visual identity are owned by Online Wedding Planner. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Site or its content without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by these terms or by applicable law.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Without limiting the foregoing:

• We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
• Budget recommendations, tipping suggestions, planning timelines, and other outputs are general guidance based on industry averages, not professional advice. Your actual costs and planning needs will vary by location, season, venue, and personal preferences.
• Flower availability, vendor pricing, and venue considerations vary by region and time. Always verify current information with local sources before making purchasing decisions.
• Wedding-day legal requirements (marriage licenses, religious requirements, destination wedding documentation) vary by jurisdiction. We are not a legal source.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Online Wedding Planner and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, regardless of the legal theory and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, which for free use of the Site is zero.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Online Wedding Planner and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your use of the Site, or your infringement of any rights of another party.

10. Third-party services and links

The Site uses third-party services (Google Fonts, jsDelivr/unpkg CDNs, Web3Forms, Google AdSense post-approval) and may link to third-party websites. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.

11. Modifications to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool, feature, or part of the Site at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Site without notice or liability.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Your local-storage data remains on your device until you clear it.

13. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will post a notice on the Site for at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Online Wedding Planner regarding the Site, superseding any prior agreements.
