Why we built this
Wedding vendor contracts are dense and skewed toward the vendor. Couples sign them, then discover three months later that "8 hours of coverage" doesn't include the rehearsal dinner, that the cake-cutting fee is per slice, or that the cancellation clause forfeits 100% of the deposit. A checklist of standard inclusions, common upsells, and red-flag clauses lets you sign with eyes open.

Frequently asked questions
Should I bring the checklist to the contract review?
Yes — it's much easier to ask "does this include X" with a list in front of you than to remember a dozen questions on the fly.
What if the vendor refuses to answer a question?
Walk. A vendor who won't clarify their contract is a vendor who will surprise you with charges later.
Can I negotiate the contract?
Always ask. Many vendors will negotiate on things like extra hours, second shooters, late-night fees, and payment schedules. They won't always negotiate on the base rate.
