Why we built this
Couples often realise too late that the photographer didn't capture a specific moment — the bouquet toss, the cake cutter mid-cut, the parents during the toasts. A shot list shared in advance eliminates this anxiety. The photographer also benefits: a clear list means they can plan their movement around the day and not miss something important.

Frequently asked questions
Won't my photographer be insulted by a shot list?
No — most professional photographers welcome it, especially for family-photo combinations. They will tell you if any shots aren't realistic given your venue or lighting.
Should I add specific named guests to the list?
Yes for family combinations ("Couple + bride's parents + brother") and for specific group shots ("All bridesmaids", "College friends group"). The photographer can't guess relationships at a 200-person wedding.
How long does the shot list portion of the day take?
Plan 30–45 minutes after the ceremony for family group photos, plus 30 minutes earlier for the first look and couple's portraits. Wide-angle and detail shots happen throughout the day in between.
